How to visit Meherbaba Samadhi at Meherabad

Meher Baba’s Samadhi is in Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra State of India, lovingly known as Meherabad. This is a small walkable hill with “Samadhi”, Babas room and Museum and library etc. Samadhi remains open from 6 am till 7.45 pm every day.

On 31st January 1969, when Meher Baba dropped His physical body, it was brought to this “Samadhi (resting place)” on the Meherabad hill, and as per his instructions placed inside “Samadhi”. Meherabad is now a place of holy pilgrimage for his eastern and western followers, with hundreds of visitors every day from all over the world, as Baba’s own physical form is entombed in “Samadhi”.

Meherabad is hardly 5 kms from Ahmednagar Railway Station is approx 125 kms from Pune and 270 kms from Mumbai. Trains and Taxi like Ola, Uber are easily available to visit Meherabad.

If you are coming for Darshan, Smadhi is open every day, but if you want to stay and/or have food, prior reservations with places of your choice, by writing emails and confirmation by Telephone are required. For more info Contact:-
